Weekend Challenges
Our weekend challenges will happen at least once, maybe twice a month. You will be presented with a photograph and asked to recreate it using your own subject. Spend some time studying the photograph and then go to work. At each monthly meeting we'll share our work.
Try this one for starters. It was taken by Chris Smith, a photographer down in North Carolina. When I get permission and a copy of this photograph I'll place it here, in place of this link. But this link will get you started. It is a portrait using natural light and maybe a reflector of some sort or a flash, so it should be within reach of most of us. You'll need no special, expensive lighting equipment.
