Sanyo's New 'XX' Eneloop

Sanyo 'XX' EneloopBatteries have been moving forward quite quickly.... and in the area of AAs Sanyo has been developing some batteries that are worth looking at.
Over a year ago Sanyo rolled out their Eneloop NiMH battery, a real break through. Previous rendition of the NiMH were high capacity, high output units but could not be used for long term use such as in a flash light where it might sit for 6 months, OR in a camera flash where you might need to use it in a moment's notice after the flash has been sitting for weeks. The older NiMH batteries would bleed off at a pretty fast rate over time. I found that they were more often then not dead when you needed them. I always needed to keep some in a charger ready to go. Pain!
