Many of us regularly listen Scott Bourne of "PhotoFocus". I normally don't put the associated player directly on this site, only when there is a particularly good show that I think many of you would like or should listen too, this is a should show.
The co-host Mathew Jordan Smith is a very acomplished Pro Sony photographer that makes many great suggestions if you are in business or planning to do so.
I haven't put one of the Photofocus podcasts up in a long time but this one is really packed with some great suggestions and ideas... so much so tha tit earns a spot here on our blog. Scott Bourne has hit a home run, don't miss it.
I wasn't going to highlight podcasts in the blog anymore since the Twitter Feed (to the right) is doing such a good job of highlighting content worth listening too, but I had to make an exception.
Last week I offered to sit with some of those in the club that needed an introduction to both the semi and manual modes. Three of us sat down yesterday morning for a couple of hours to do this along with a great DVD as inspiration. This was Dave A.'s idea that worked out really well.
Last night I spotted the most recent podcast from Scott Bourne's PhotoFocus. This show is strickly a "Question and Answer" show made up of questions submitted by listeners.
This particularly show must cover about 80% of what I've disucssed wtih everyone this past week, from the beginners to the advanced photographers out there. There is something for everyone and is worth listening too. They start fast and run quickly through all the questions with speed... bang, bang, bang.
This podcast is produced every 10 day on the 5th, 15th and the 25th of each month. I think all of you will find this a very helpful listen!
Well it is new and not new. I've been following Scott Bourne for some time with another group of photographer on a site and podcast named This Week in Photograph. I'm not sure exactly what has happened but it seems that they parted ways.
Scott's new site is called PhotoFocus (basically an online magazine with multiple entries each day) and it has associated with it a very good podcast. This podcast is strictly a "question and answer" program taken from the public. Expect questions across the spectrum from easy to highly technical, from the digital AND film world to business related.
