Notice & World Cup Opening

This came across Facebook Saturday about our coverage of the IBU World Cup Biathlon #7 

A big "Thank You" to the Nordic Heritage Sports Club! AND to Dave Allen, Peter Freeman and Paul Cyr and others that have been contributing.  Paul sent over 3 or 4 shots of the groomers early Sunday morning.. like real early.  I'll get them up soon.

Dave Allen Graphics most recent slideshow.... just put up... shouldn't be missed. I like all of your work Dave.. but I think this one of the Opening Ceremonies is your best yet!

When you put a URL in an entry in Facebook... it picks up the first link... or photo it finds... Thus you see Mike's ad for his shop down in Rockland.

I'm not to worried about it as we'll be charging him twice as much next year for the ad! Ha...  Just kidding Mike! Too funny.

NordicHeritage SportClub  You've got to check out this local photography club - you won't believe how they've captured the World Cup! If you haven't "liked" The Aroostook F-Stops yet, you should!

E-ON World Cup Biathlon - Thanks

 Paul, Ken, Tom and I had another fantastic day photographing the 2011 E.ON World Cup Biathlon at the Nordic Herritage Sports Center in Presque Isle, Maine.  Lots of fans, lots of energy, and lots of new snow.  Athletes, support teams, and volunteers were pushed to their limits.  What a great day.

 

Many thanks to all of the athletes, their trainers, and their support teams, they were truely world class.  Also many thanks to all the people that brought this world class event together:  the IBU, the promoters, the local business community, and all the volunteers without which none of this would have been possible.
