What an incredible, wonderful idea!

Scout Bourne, one of my favorite photographers, constantly suggests that our photographs should tell stories. Here at 'Pictorymag.com', created by Laura Brunow Miner, they do just that but in a colaborative way.
The editors determine a category of story, what we might call a theme. From that photographers submit their very best photographs along with a caption, more like a paragraph of description, that they think best fits that theme. The editors then take the sumitted photographs/captions and select the best. The photographers do not loose their rights to the photogtraph.
The results are not only collections of great photographs but stories that are deeply moving and powerfully told.
Check out “Are you there Dad?” mid page under “Other Recent Features” as an example.
This type of thing is the web at it's best! Please don't miss this.
