Having admired many infrared photographs I always assumed that it would be an expensive venture... Well it appears that I was wrong at least for the most part....
Take a look at the following article by guest contributor Joe Farace over at PhotoFocus. The blog entry is "Digital IR Photography with Filters". He suggests that if your camera is capable, he tells you how you can tell, a good quality filter from Hoya for example is all you need.
And what is really neat is that the time of day, mid day the time when normal photography is usually off, is the best time to shot IR photographs.
